Exam Content Overview

This test covers: Theory or usage of SDH/WDM/datacom/clock, the following abilities are required for the tester, understand usage of SNMP theory/OAM of MSTP/QoS on NMS; knowing on troubleshooting of SDH/WDM; knowing about usage of DC update tool, board-lever update, updating simulation; knowing how to do acceptance test for service of MSTP/HMSTP/WDM, function well with cutover, service miguration solution making and acting.

  • Know hardware structure, features, standards, board type, fuction and interface
Data configuration
  • Understand network solution and DCN configuration, NE ID/IP configuration, and can use NMS for MSTP/HMSTP/WDM equipment commissioning
  • Know how to configure services on TDM(E1\STM-1\4\16\64), ETH, ODUK, GE, 40G\ANY level
  • Know how to configure protection of services such as SNCP/MSP/APS/TPS/LAG
  • Know how to add and monitor equipments on NMS
  • Know how to configure QoS/Clock/OAM of services
  • NMS single-server system installation
  • Function well on product data collection and basic service planning
  • Function well on solution making and acting of cutover and service miguration

  • Know how to test protected service by SNCP/MSP/APS/TPS/LAG
  • Usage of BER Tester and optical power meter
